The Birth of Oh-tastic!
- The inspiration for Oh-tastic! came from a frustrating shopping experience. “I first searched all the shelves for intimate care products, and all I was finding was white medical products not tailored for the needs of women,” Vanessa recalls. This gap in the market the absence of products designed with women’s specific needs in mind became the catalyst for change.
- Together with her co-founder Cornelius, Vanessa set out to create something different: a brand that speaks to women, understands their needs, and delivers products that are both functional and empowering.
A month at POMAR: where nature meets connection
- In September, Vanessa and Cornelius spent a month at POMAR, our coliving space nestled in the heart of the Algarve in southern Portugal. The experience proved invaluable for both their business and personal growth, offering a unique blend of productivity and community : “POMAR gave me deep focus work during the day and a community vibe at night and on the weekends,” Vanessa explains. The stay was fully immersed in nature, allowing them to mix deep work sessions with sport, creativity, and memorable moments with what Vanessa calls the “POMAR Tribe.”
- The diverse community comprising self-employed individuals, employed professionals created a collaborative ecosystem where everyone could contribute. “Everyone could relate to our business, could help us in a way, could benefit from our ideas, or put new ideas into our business,” Vanessa shares. This exchange of ideas and close collaboration was “really, really amazing” for Oh-tastic’s development. But it wasn’t all work. Vanessa also took time to embrace the lifestyle, enjoying a glass of wine while soaking in the beautiful Algarve landscape. “I highly, highly recommend,” she adds with enthusiasm.

What’s Next for Oh-tastic!
Oh-tastic! is expanding its product line with an exciting new addition: a mama line focused on pregnancy and after-birth products. This natural expansion deepens the brand’s commitment to supporting women through different life stages, staying true to their mission of self-care and intimate wellness done naturally.
Even more ambitious, Vanessa and Cornelius are working to bring Oh-tastic! to major German drugstore chains, specifically DM and Rossmann. This move would significantly increase the brand’s accessibility and reach across Germany, making their products available to women who need them most. “Keep a lookout when you find our beauties,” Vanessa encourages, inviting customers to watch for Oh-tastic! products on drugstore shelves soon.
