Markets are held all over Algarve. There are monthly local markets and fixed markets every day. Like the Olhao market just 4km from POMAR, which is a popular place with local products and fresh fish.
The Algarve has beaches with excellent surfing conditions. POMAR is 15 minutes from Faro beach, which offers waves for beginners all year round. Now’s your chance to get started! For more experienced surfers, you can head to one of our favorite spots at Praia de Bordeira or Sagres (Praia do Tonel). Note to experienced surfers: we advise you to avoid the summer months, as there are few waves in the Algarve ๐
