We host entrepreneurs, freelancers and creatives for two weeks to several months. No front desk, no concierge script — a community manager lives the week with the house, and we answer the messages ourselves.
A corporate life in Paris that had stopped feeling like a priority.
how it started
A family farm in Portugal. Eighteen months of construction work to renovate it after Covid.
In 2020 we came back to the family orchard near Olhão and started turning the farmhouse into a coliving. The first coliver arrived in October 2021 a landscaper designer from Paris who booked ten days and left after three months, a webflow designer from Amsterdam and so on.
We did some improvement though the years: rebuild the garden twice, the indoor gym, then the pool. In 2026 we opened a second house in Fuseta, 9 kilometres away, on the Ria Formosa lagoon for the residents who wanted salt water at the end of the street.
Na Praia runs October to April. Base runs September to June. Both houses run on the same idea: efficient working spaces, a real community, and the Algarve at the end of the road.

Word spreads
POMAR gets featured in festivals. Rooms start booking weeks in advance.
2024-25
Two pop-ups colivings
POMAR in the City in Olhao, POMAR na Serra in the hills of Estoi. Different places, same idea, testing what residents want beyond the Base.
