POMAR combines a private bedroom and workspace with shared kitchens, coworking areas and outdoor spaces. You keep your privacy while living alongside a small community of entrepreneurs, creatives, freelancers and remote professionals.

It is a home built around focused work and shared experiences — not a hotel, hostel or party house.

Most colivers are entrepreneurs, creatives, freelancers or remote employees who want a productive routine without giving up community. Stays range from two weeks to several months, so the atmosphere is more settled than in short-stay accommodation.

The minimum stay is 14 nights. Longer stays receive a lower nightly rate, with the best value generally available from 28 nights.

Some bedrooms can accommodate two guests. Capacity and bed configuration vary, so check the individual room page before booking. POMAR does not match strangers into shared rooms: if you book for two, you come with the person sharing your room.

Regular coliving stays are designed for adults and are not suitable for children. For a family stay, private event or complete-house booking, contact us so we can assess whether one of the houses fits your group.

Guest pets are not normally accepted because bedrooms and common areas are shared with other colivers. Contact us before booking if you have a specific assistance-related requirement.

POMAR Base is in Olhão. It offers a farm setting, larger work and training spaces and easy access to the surrounding countryside.

POMAR na Praia is in Fuseta, a coastal village on the Ria Formosa lagoon, close to the beach, train station and village centre.

Faro Airport is the closest airport. By car, allow roughly 20 minutes to POMAR Base and 30 minutes to POMAR na Praia, depending on traffic.

An airport pick-up can be ordered separately for €25, subject to availability. Confirm it with us before arrival.

A car is useful if you want to explore beaches, surf spots and inland villages freely. It is more helpful at POMAR Base, where public transport is limited.

POMAR na Praia is easier without a car because Fuseta has a train station and everyday services in the village. Bikes are available at POMAR Base, but POMAR does not provide a car or scooter rental service.

POMAR base’s neighborhood has cafés and restaurants and small shops within walking distance; larger supermarkets and the Olhão market are easier to reach by bike or car.

POMAR na Praia is close to Fuseta’s cafés, restaurants, market and everyday shops. We share our current local recommendations with every coliver after arrival.

Both houses use 1 Gbps fibre internet with Wi-Fi and wired connections. Coworking spaces and bedroom workstations are designed for normal remote work, video calls and large file transfers.

Each house has equipped coworking areas, and every bedroom includes its own workstation. Shared equipment includes ergonomic seating, external screens and collaboration tools such as a whiteboard or flip chart, depending on the house.

Dedicated call booths and quieter work areas are available, and your bedroom workstation gives you another private option. Colivers are asked to use the appropriate space for calls so shared work areas remain comfortable.

POMAR does not currently operate as a standard public drop-in coworking space. For a team workation, retreat or private working session, contact our dedicated workation team.

Your rate includes a private room and workstation, coworking access, 1 Gbps internet, shared kitchens and coffee, pools, laundry access, towels and bed linen, outdoor communal spaces and the community rhythm of the house.

House-specific extras include bikes and a fully equipped indoor gym at POMAR Base, and breakfast on workdays at POMAR na Praia. Paid services such as the airport pick-up are ordered separately.

Your private room is cleaned every two weeks. The community also takes part in a weekly communal cleaning so shared spaces stay pleasant between professional cleaning visits.

POMAR is a home rather than a hotel: everyone cleans up after cooking and leaves common areas ready for the next person.

The weekly rhythm is shaped with the colivers and changes with the group, season and weather. Community dinners, training, surfing, skill sharing and local outings are common, but nothing is compulsory.

The aim is to make connection easy while leaving everyone free to organise their own time.

Winter is one of the best periods for focused work and outdoor sport. Mild days make hiking, running, cycling, surfing and exploring the Ria Formosa comfortable, while towns and restaurants are quieter than in summer.

Weather still varies, so bring layers and a waterproof jacket alongside your beach clothes.

POMAR Base suits colivers who want more training facilities, an inland farm setting and a highly structured work routine. It includes the fully equipped indoor gym and bikes.

POMAR na Praia places you closer to the lagoon, beach and Fuseta village. It offers a more coastal rhythm and breakfast on workdays.

For a direct booking, 50% of the total is paid when you book and the remaining 50% is due on arrival. Extras and additional services are paid at checkout, check-in or when the service is ordered.

For a direct booking cancelled at least 45 days before check-in, the deposit is refunded in full within 30 days. Inside 45 days, the deposit is non-refundable. A no-show or early departure leaves the full original booking due.

The cancellation and modification conditions shown by the booking platform apply. Requests and refunds must be managed through that platform; direct-booking conditions cannot replace them.

An extension is possible whenever the room remains available. Changes requested at least 45 days before check-in are subject to availability; inside 45 days, dates and stay length cannot be changed under the direct-booking policy.

Yes. Partial or complete house bookings can be arranged for teams, workations, retreats and private groups. The format, capacity and programme are prepared separately from regular coliving stays.
