After three seasons building the POMAR community, we’re opening a new chapter at Na Praia — and we’re looking for the right person to lead it.
This is a paid position, full package included.
What is POMAR?
POMAR Coliving was born in 2022 on a 15-acre family farm in the eastern Algarve, 15km from Faro airport and 3km from the vibrant fishing town of Olhão. Since then, more than 300 colivers _ entrepreneurs, freelancers, and creatives from around the world, have called POMAR home for a few weeks or a few months.
The concept has always been the same: a place where you can deep work, live well, and build real connections under 300 days of Algarve sun.
Last year we openned a second location called POMAR Na Praia. This coliving is our premium, beachside location seasonal, intentional, and already our best-performing location.
It reopens this October 2026 and runs through April 2027. And this season, things are a little different, I’m expecting my second baby, due right around opening day. Funny timing, right? Which is exactly why this hire matters so much to me. I’m not looking for someone to follow instructions. I’m looking for an on-site partner. Someone who owns Na Praia the way I would. 15 minutes from the beach, from the town of Fuseta, and from everything the eastern Algarve has to offer the best restaurants, the hidden bars, the Ria Formosa islands right on your doorstep.
🌈 Why this role, why now
This season, POMAR Na Praia moves to minimum one-month stays. The community will be more intentional, more rooted. I’ll be focusing more on growth and sales, which means I need someone I genuinely trust on the ground someone who doesn’t need to be told what to do, and who understands that a great community isn’t animated, it’s cultivated.
Someone who already been a community manager before with experience with group of 6 to 10 people and with driving licence mandatory ( comfortable driving manual car)
This is not a support role. It’s an ownership role with the POMAR DNA .
🛎️ What you’ll be responsible for
The rhythm of the week:
- Monday planning meeting to kick off the week
- 2 spontaneous activities mid-week (movie night, hike, board games, sunset spot — whatever feels right for the group maybe more after work)
- 1 weekly family dinner
- 1 monthly Sunday brunch
- Saturdays activities that you lead
- Pancakes every two weeks
- Simple breakfast setup on weekday mornings at 8:30am
- Beyond the weekly rhythm:
- Check-ins and check-outs (one-month stays mean fewer of them)
- House logistics and stock management
- Coordination with POMAR Base colivers for shared activities
- Photos and videos to capture the moments
- You set the tone. You create the conditions for people to work well, meet each other genuinely, and remember their time at POMAR long after they leave.
🌻 The package
This is a paid position — 26 hours per week, with a flexible structure. Mornings start with about 90 minutes of house duties, the middle of the day is yours for deep work and personal projects, and evenings are for community building. No rigid schedule.

- Private room at POMAR Base with shared bathroom (utilities included)
- Access to pool, indoor gym, and hot tub
- Daily breakfast at Na Praia
- POMAR car available 4 days a week for logistics (insurance and tolls covered)
- 100€ bonus for every coliver you bring in directly — minimum 1-month stay, confirmed and paid booking, bonus paid after check-in
Time off: 2 days per week (ideally Wednesday and Sunday), one full weekend off every two months, and a Christmas break from December 22 to January 2.
✨ Who we’re looking for
Someone with real experience in community management in colivings. Even better if you already know POMAR. You’re autonomous, warm, and organized on the fundamentals. You know how to improvise a movie night and manage check-in/check outs in the same breath. You bring people together without making it feel forced.
Fluent in English — our community is international.
